The summer’s final Circle the City event is just two days away, and we can’t wait!
This Sunday, Circle the City will feature a car-free corridor along the Wharf District of the Rose Kennedy Greenway, connecting to Faneuil Hall and the Boston National Historical Park by City Hall.

There will be live music, outdoor fitness classes, children’s activities, food, and more. We’re bringing the bikes!
As with the last two Circle the City events, we’ll have a free bike rodeo for kids ages 3–9, and free bike rentals for adults and older kids. We’ll be downtown between Milk Street and Central Street from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. (right next to the free samples from Larabar and Cascadian Farm…yum).
Like the last Circle the City, we’ll be giving away helmets from 12 to 1 p.m.
We’re also excited about a few new events!
MassBike will offer a free bike valet just south of High Street, sponsored by the Boston Collaborative for Food and Fitness.
Boston Bikes is a stop on the Passport to Fun. There will be stacks of passports available for kids to pick up at booths throughout Circle the City. Kids who complete 4 of the 7 activities on the passport will get 50% off an ice cream at Quincy’s Place.
Jessica Mink (a past Cyclist of the Week) will be leading a 17-mile ride from the Boston Cyclists Union tent at 10 a.m. Click here for more information.
Laurie Pessah will lead a guided tour of downtown bike lanes from the Boston Bikes tent at 11 a.m.
At the Boston Bikes tent, women can sign a “Why I Bike” / “Why I Don’t Bike” wall and learn more about our upcoming Women and Family Cycling Initiative.
