Volunteers Needed!
Volunteers are needed for the following jobs in relation to Bike Week/Bike Fridays:
Signage Volunteers–Put up and take down signs at convoy ‘pick-up points’ so riders know where to congregate. Retrieve signs after event. Flexible timing: Thurs evening or Fri morning.
Ride Leaders–Lead a convoy of riders from an assigned meeting point to Boston City Hall with designated ‘pick-up points’ along the way. Expected to welcome and introduce riders, know the route, and maintain a safe environment for participants. Timing is roughly 6:30am-end of route.
Plaza Volunteers–Welcome incoming riders at City Hall, help with set-up and breakdown of plaza. Could also use 1–2 great photographers to document event. 6:30am-9:00am.
