I think I am more confused now!!

I am into my second Hybrid with flat bars but im in the saddle for long rides of about 3 hours so I thought I should go for a drop handle bars adventure/endurance bike. Or do i go for a higher spec better Hybrid bike with flat bars.

I am quite old, but very fit ,but i do get aching shoulders and aching back ( not necessarily from my biking but is an age thing!!)

So any other advice would be great

Thank you for a very good article. I have two questions: 1) Which seat is the more comfortable? I have been on the assault bike and found the seat to be rather uncomfortable but I haven’t been on the airdyne. And 2) My husband would like to be able to watch his ipad while riding. Which bike would better accommodate this?

In reply to Roni. Hi Roni, For crotch pain, I'd strongly recommend getting a crotchless bike seat like this one that I found very comfortable to use. Or you can go with the Hobson EasySeat II . However, crotchless seats change how the bikes feel but I'd assume that you would welcome the comfort over the negligible difference in the experience that you'll get. Give either one a shot and let me know how it goes for you!

Hi,
I cannot ride my new Peleton bike because of crotch pain not sit bone pain. I’m not sure which seat is appropriate for a senior woman. I could use some guidance. Ty
