Bike Week is May 11–19, 2013.

Our Bike Week Celebration is May 17th, 7-9a!

Come celebrate with us on Friday, May 17th at Boston City Hall Plaza. Boston’s Bike Week Festival closes out a great week of bike commuting in conjunction with the statewide Bay State bike week (May 11th-19th). It also serves as the first Bike Friday event of the season!

Just like Bike Fridays, it starts with 10 group rides from different surrounding areas all the way to Boston City Hall. We’ll have vendors and a small expo area, as well as free breakfast and morning refreshments! Local shops will be on hand to examine your bike and lots of other commuters will be around to share their energy.

How to participate:

1. The festival starts with a bike commuting convoy from a neighborhood near you. See the routes and times to decide if you’d like to join a convoy.

2. REGISTER to attend the celebration! It’s free and easy to sign up: we just need to know how many people are coming.

Check out our resources section for tips on traveling by bike, and remember that the bike week festival kicks off our annual tradition of Bike Fridays . We’ll see you bright and early on City Hall Plaza!

Additional options: You might also consider having your workplace/school form a team for the Mass Commuter Challenge for the week. Consult MassBike’s Bay State Bike Week for bike events around the state during bike week!
