SwagCycle Pro Folding Electric Bike Review
The SwagCycle Pro is the upgraded version of the original SwagCycle with a few changes. One of the biggest improvements you’ll find is with the performance. The new SwagCycle Pro also has a bigger battery, which improves battery life by almost 50%.
All in all, this bike has some amazing features that you should certainly check out down below. Considering all other options at its price point, the SwagCycle Pro is perhaps one of the best among the list.
In this detailed review, we will go over some of the main features and some pros and cons of the bike. Hopefully, this review will help you with your purchase.
One of the first things you’ll notice about this bike is the build quality. I was honestly surprised by how good the build quality was. It has a premium metal frame, which feels absolutely amazing. The frame is sturdy yet extremely light. The bike weighs just around 30 pounds so you can easily put this in the back of your car.
All things aside, the build quality of this bike will surely impress you.
Another thing you’ll notice about this bike is its unique design. It is very different from what you see every day. Though it is similar to the other electric bike models from SwagTron, this particular bike has a sporty design, which also looks very futuristic. If you ever go out riding on this bike, it will definitely turn some heads.
The bike has a pretty straightforward handlebar, which takes the form of a flat handlebar. It has a comfortable grip, and you’ll find both the front and rear brake levers on each side. The horn button is also located on the handlebar along with the speedometer that shows the battery life of the bike.
Aside from being stylish, the design of this bike also serves another purpose. It is designed in such a way that it becomes easy to carry when you fold it. The bike is one of the most portable electric bikes in the world.
The SwagCycle Pro Folding Electric Bike offers decent performance. It has a 250-watt motor, which allows you to reach up to 18 miles per hour, which is pretty great. Although it is not as fast as some of the other electric bikes out there, it is pretty decent for its price. Besides, going more than 20mph on an electric bike is totally unnecessary and could prove to be dangerous.
However, one thing that’s missing on this bike is the suspension system. You will definitely feel the impact when you ride over a bump or a pothole. I did find that putting your feet on the front pecks reduces the overall impact. Aside from the missing suspension, the bike does a good job on the performance.

The weight capacity of this bike is something that will totally surprise you. Even though the bike itself weighs just around 30 pounds, it can support both children and adults of up to a whopping 264 pounds. This is one instance where you can confidently say, “Looks don’t matter.”
The charging time of this bike is not as fast as other electric bikes in the market. It takes about 3-4 hours to fully charge the battery, which is still a pretty decent amount of time. With a fully charged battery, the bike will allow you to travel for some 15-16 miles. The battery performance was pretty much up to my expectation as it allowed me to get my groceries and come back with a single charge.
The saddle on this bike was quite comfortable; however, it is important to note that it didn’t have a lot of adjustments to it. You cannot adjust the height of the seat. You can only move the sit back and forth. I found the seat pretty comfortable when I pushed it way back. All in all, I don’t have a lot of complaints about the saddle of the SwagCycle Pro.
One of the most interesting things about this bike is that it comes with a mobile app which allows you to control certain features of the bike through your smartphone. For instance, you can set the top speed of the bike through the app. This prevents your child from going too fast. You can also lock the wheels on the bike remotely. Other features of the app include tracking the trips, setting a password, and running diagnostics.
The SwagCycle Pro Folding Electric bike is undoubtedly one of the best electric bikes out there. With such an amazing build quality, you will definitely have a great time riding the bike. It is an excellent choice for people of all ages and weight. Its weight capacity of 264 pounds is definitely one of the main plus points of this bike.
This electric bike also has a powerful LED headlight, which is almost as powerful as your everyday motorbikes. You will certainly have no issue riding this bike in the dark. Another awesome feature of this bike is that you can also charge your smartphones or any device with the USB compartment on the bike.
Although the bike has some issues, especially with the charging time, the seat adjustment, and the small wheels, you won’t find another bike quite like this at this price point. Where the bike fails to deliver, it redeems itself on other far more important features like battery life, portability, build quality, and much more. If you are looking to buy an electric bike, the SwagCycle Pro Folding Electric Bike could be what you want.
